We've completed our trial for the DLink DHPW311AV Powerline and Wireless Adapters, and we're delighted with the overall results. It took quite a while to get the product to our trialists, as we had to make sure they were right - but the improvements we've seen in Wireless speed, range and signal speed has been significant. Also, we've seen a noticeable uplift in Powerline wired performance against our current PLA's - which again is pleasing to see reported.

Thanks for everyone who sent feedback on the adapters, the setup guide and how easy it was to install. We've fed all the information and suggestions to improve it before we release the product to the Product Management and Marketing teams, and you directly have helped us build a better, quality product for our customers.

Thanks to everyone who took part in the TalkTalk Labs Remote Firmware Upgrade trials. We've completed our testing and presented our findings to the senior decision makers in TalkTalk. They are really excited about the high success rate of upgrades and encouraging Customer Satisfaction scores that the research activities displayed, and plans to upgrade a large portion of our customers to the latest firmware using this technology is due to begin very soon.

If you took part, the Project Team would like to thank you for your excellent feedback - it has shown how important community based testing of this (or any) products is.

As you probably are aware, we have a set of excellent prizes for those who completed the requested surveys and carried out the preparation tasks to carry out the trials. TalkTalk Labs are delighted with the recent introduction of the "Extended Profile", an enhanced TalkTalk Labs account record that can be updated at any time by you. We can use it to select you for the trials we need trialists for.

It collects information about what router you have, what products you have, etc.

We will be updating the information requested in this form, so please check back regularly for any new questions to complete. You also receive an Labs Achievement for completing your Extended Profile.

TalkTalk Labs do not use this information for any other purpose, and do not share it within or outside the Lab. It's used to match your products and technology to trials that we recruit for.

We are happy to announce that you can now view your connection test results online, via My Profile.

Historical data is included, so you can see past speed test and ping results, as well as track your current data for as many computers as you have installed the TalkTalk Labs Desktop software on.

TalkTalk Labs Desktop is a free tool to help support product trials. If you are not participating on an active Trial then it will limit itself to one automated connection test per day.

If you already have it installed, simply go to My Profile and login to see your results.
