TalkTalk Labs are inviting applications for the trial of the proposed new "Plus" router, the Huawei HG533.

The device is a 4-port, full "N", introducing several suggestions you made in previous trials.

The router is Fibre and TalkTalk TV (YouView) compatible, but unfortunately, TalkTalk TV customers cannot apply as it is not compatible with your current service.

You must be a TalkTalk, Pipex or Tiscali customer to be selected. AOL customers will be included in later trials.

Places are very, very limited due to small number of sample units, and selection is based upon required criteria provided by completed "Extended Profiles".

This program will carry out a set of diagnostic tests on your broadband connection and connected equipment. You can view your results in your profile - and at the same time unlock your "Desk Jockey" achievement!  (* Windows only at this time, sorry.)

We are happy to announce that you can now view your connection test results online, via My Profile.

Historical data is included, so you can see past speed test and ping results, as well as track your current data for as many computers as you have installed the TalkTalk Labs Desktop software on.

TalkTalk Labs Desktop is a free tool to help support product trials. If you are not participating on an active Trial then it will limit itself to one automated connection test per day.

If you already have it installed, simply go to My Profile and login to see your results.
