Ultrafast Broadband Trial
The TalkTalk Ultrafast Broadband trial is a unique method of increasing broadband speed.
The technology being testing is a brand new development based on Bonded Line technology, which combines multiple telephone lines to increase the speed of your internet connection. The lines can be a mixture of speeds but you will receive the aggregate of them all added together.
The Supplied routers are high end wireless N devices and the new bonded service will just look like one Ultrafast Broadband connection with a static IP allocated from the network.
As a trialist you will need to download TTG Desktop and install it on your PC. This can be found at:
http://www.talktalk-labs.com/downloads/
The application will monitor the speed and stability of your internet connection and will help us to assess the success of the trial. It is important that you install the software as soon as possible as we will use it to take a reading of your broadband speed prior to installing the new wireless routers.
Update: Recruitment for the trial is now closed; we are about to enter Phase 3 of the Trial with 200 additional lucky trialists.
