Wireless Extender Trial
TalkTalk Labs are excited to announce news of a proof of concept trial, for a new Wireless Extender device. The trial's aim is to support the decision of the TalkTalk business to investigate this type of device further.
The Wireless Extender works with existing wireless network to extend the coverage, or range.
Using the Wireless Extender over a wireless network effectively helps solve radio signal issues, such as signal impairment and attenuation.
It is planned to recruit 100 customers ideally who feel their current wireless range is sub-standard and would be willing to perform some Pre-Extender and Post-Extender diagnostic comparisons using TalkTalk Labs Desktop.
The Wireless Extender can be positioned anywhere within the home with minimal setup as it plugs directly into a standard household electric socket. The best positioning for the device would be half-way between your router and the computer with which you have wireless range issues.

We expect the interest level of this trial to be very high; therefore, we will have to complete a short signup form. You will be requested to install and run TalkTalk Labs Desktop on the PC with which you feel introducing the Wireless Extender will benefit to be considered for participation.
We expect the Wireless Extender will installed within 3 days of receiving the item in the post, and that the supplied instructions are followed and fed back upon their ease of understanding and logic of the process.
In addition, we hope that you will comment upon the day-to-day operational wireless experience using the Extender, and complete a short survey confirming how you think the experience has changed since you began using the Wireless Extender.
If you return good quality feedback, you will be able to keep the wireless Extender.
